After being laid off by my corporate healthcare desk job in Boston during COVID, I came to Nantucket. My original plan was to stay here for the summer and return to Boston in the fall to start the dreaded job hunt. However, Nantucket worked its magic and five years later, I happy to say I am still here.

 

I made the official move to Nantucket in August of 2020 and landed a job where I gained valuable experience in the sign industry. I have always had a passion for arts and a background experience using Adobe programs as I had a high school entrepreneurial gig doing portrait photography. After being laid off, I was ready to try something that allowed me to be more creative in my day-to-day.

 

I ended up loving it and after 5 years of exploring my creativity and building relationships on the island, I decided it was finally time to start my own business.  The Sign Lady LLC combines my passion for art, my entrepreneurial spirit and my love for the Nantucket community that kept me here 5 years later.  Thank you for supporting local and being part of my journey!
