Welcome to my small Nantucket business!
A little about me.....
After being laid off by my corporate healthcare desk job in Boston during COVID, I came to Nantucket. My original plan was to stay in Nantucket for the summer and return to Boston in the fall to start the dreaded job hunt.
However, Nantucket worked its magic and six years later, I am happy to say I am still here, in part due to my locally born Bernese Mountain Dog Wren and my boyfriend who has her sister Nala.
I ended up loving the ability to explore my creativity daily through work and after six years of building relationships on the island, I decided it was finally time to start my own business. The Sign Lady LLC combines my passion for art, my entrepreneurial spirit and my love for the Nantucket community that kept me here six years later.
Thank you for supporting local and being part of my journey! I am proud ot be a woman run business (complete with two quality control mangers) and I look forward to working with you.
To back up, I made the official move to Nantucket in August of 2020 and landed a job where I gained valuable experience in the sign industry. I have always had a passion for arts and a background experience using Adobe programs as I had a high school entrepreneurial gig doing portrait photography. After being laid off, I was ready to try something that allowed me to be more creative in my day-to-day.
